Although Paonia sadly lost nearly all of its fruit crop this year, we're grateful that our neighboring farming communities are helping fill the gap. Pantojas Farm has partnered with a Palisade orchard that grows peaches using organic practices (though they aren't certified organic), making it possible for us to enjoy fresh Colorado peaches this summer. It's a wonderful reminder that agriculture is a community effort, and when one valley has a difficult season, another can help carry the harvest.
