Farmhand’s Harvest

Farmhand’s Harvest — Benjamin Bryce Capron

Tucked up on Lamborn Mesa, Farmhand’s Harvest is the kind of operation that reflects a deep, hands-on relationship with land, animals, and community. Benjamin Bryce Capron stewards his farm with a clear commitment to working in harmony with natural systems—raising animals and producing goods with integrity from start to finish.

At the heart of the farm is 100% grassfed and finished Colorado lamb, raised slowly and thoughtfully on clean pasture. Benjamin never uses synthetic wormers, hormones, or antibiotics, and extends that same philosophy to the land itself—no herbicides, pesticides, or chemical fertilizers touch the fields his animals graze. It’s a holistic approach that results in nutrient-dense meat and a healthier ecosystem overall.

Farmhand’s Harvest is more than just lamb. The farm produces high-quality hay, locally tanned lambskins, and beautiful Bluefaced Leicester yarn, all rooted in the same ethic of care and craftsmanship. Benjamin also offers breedstock—including East Frisian, Bluefaced Leicester, and mule ewes—supporting the next generation of regional shepherds.

Beyond production, Farmhand’s Harvest is a working landscape in the truest sense. From custom haying and field work to excavation and driveway grading, Benjamin brings a wide range of skills to support the agricultural fabric of the North Fork Valley.

Grounded, capable, and deeply intentional, Farmhand’s Harvest is a reflection of what it means to truly live and work on the land.
