Nestled in the North Fork Valley outside Paonia, Rock ’n Roots Farm is a small family farm run by Jon and Candice Orlando. Their work is rooted in a deep commitment to caring for the land, growing food and plant medicine in ways that restore soil health and support the surrounding ecosystem. Using regenerative practices and Certified Naturally Grown methods—without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides—they cultivate vegetables, herbs, and hemp with an emphasis on quality, purity, and stewardship of the land. 

Jon and Candice’s path to farming began through community food projects in Denver, where they helped create urban gardens and pay-what-you-can farm stands to increase access to fresh, healthy food. Today at Rock ’n Roots Farm, that same spirit of community and care continues through their dedication to growing nourishing plants and sharing them with their neighbors.
