With over four decades of hands-on experience, Lance Swigart is the Paonia Food Movement’s most seasoned grower and a true steward of the land. Practicing regenerative agriculture long before it became a buzzword, Lance has dedicated his life to building healthy soil, preserving biodiversity, and growing nutrient-rich food without compromising the earth’s natural balance.

Lance is especially celebrated for his exceptional carrots—sweet, crisp, and bursting with flavor—grown in harmony with the seasons and the soil.
