Fire Mountain Farmstead is a small regenerative farm utilizing beyond-organic practices on a high desert mesa in Western Colorado. James McCain and Niki Carpenter founded their farm on rented land in 2016 outside Paonia, Colorado and they moved twelve miles down the road to Roger’s Mesa in 2020 when they found ten acres to call their own. They produce grass-fed and finished lamb and mutton products, organic-fed and free-range chicken and duck eggs, pork products, freeze-dried offal dog treats, full spectrum hemp (CBD) oil, herbal extracts, vanilla extract, and various seasonal vegetables and herbs.
