Pasture Raised Lamb Shoulder Roast – Bone-in (3.2 lb)
Pasture-Raised Dorper Lamb Shoulder Roast – Bone-In (3.2 lb) from Fire Mountain Ranch
Rich, succulent, and deeply flavorful, this bone-in lamb shoulder roast showcases the best of Fire Mountain Ranch’s pasture-raised Dorper lamb. The Dorper breed is prized for its tender texture and mild, sweet flavor — never gamey, always satisfying.
Raised on open pasture and natural forage, these lambs live in harmony with the land, producing meat that’s both nutrient-dense and ethically raised.
Cooking Tips:
The shoulder roast shines when cooked low and slow — braised, roasted, or smoked. The bone adds depth and richness, making it perfect for hearty dishes like Moroccan-style tagines, herb-crusted roasts, or slow-cooked pulled lamb.

Why we love Fire Mountain Farmstead:
Fire Mountain Farmstead is a small regenerative farm utilizing beyond-organic practices on a high desert mesa in Western Colorado. James McCain and Niki Carpenter founded their farm on rented land in 2016 outside Paonia, Colorado and they moved twelve miles down the road to Roger’s Mesa in 2020 when they found ten acres to call their own. They produce grass-fed and finished lamb and mutton products, organic-fed and free-range chicken and duck eggs, pork products, freeze-dried offal dog treats, full spectrum hemp (CBD) oil, herbal extracts, vanilla extract, and various seasonal vegetables and herbs. We also offer unique tiny house farm stays, farm tours, and a range of hand-crafted products, such as our all-natural soaps.
