Why We Love Honey Moon Mesa:

Honey Moon Mesa is a small, family owned and run apiary. All our bees are located on the western slope of Colorado and reside here year round. We run four yards between delta county and the grand mesa providing a variety of honeys through the seasons. Our High Elevation Honey is harvested from a 400+ acre conservation easement at 8200 ft elevation. These hives are isolated in the wilderness and feed on 100% native plants and wildflowers. There is no agriculture within their foraging range creating a unique and seasonal honey. Spring harvest is fruity and rich with flavors from chokecherry and serviceberry; summer produces a delicate and floral honey that tastes of the many wildflowers; and the late fall gives us a dark, oaky, molasses like honey as the bees forage on the scrub oak trees. All our honey is raw and unfiltered.

We source ingredients for our Infusions, Salves, etc locally whenever possible and enjoy partnering with other small businesses in our area. We are proud to be a sustainable apiary supporting the future of all pollinators.
