Why We Love to Support Nigel Supertramp
Since 2011, I’ve been deeply committed to local agriculture, transforming my passion for sustainable
farming into a specialized craft. My journey began working across various farmsteads and homesteads,
where I developed comprehensive skills in livestock management, irrigation systems, and vegetable
cultivation.
For the past three seasons, I’ve dedicated myself exclusively to growing winter greens—with 95% of my
production focused on salad greens and 5% on cooking greens. While not certified organic, I’m committed
to growing without synthetic chemicals or fertilizers, staying true to natural agricultural principles.
My mission is simple: grow nutrient-rich greens that truly nourish. I achieve this through:
– Carefully balanced soil amendments
– Strategic fertilization techniques
– Harvesting leaves at full maturity to maximize nutritional density
I currently supply chefs, stores, and farm-to-table operations throughout the North Fork Valley. I’m
excited to now extend my offerings to residents of the Roaring Fork Valley, bringing high-quality,
sustainably grown winter greens directly to local tables.
My approach isn’t just about growing greens—it’s about cultivating good nutrition, supporting local food
systems, and honoring the incredible potential of thoughtful, intentional agriculture.
